Coastal Defender
Book One
Bracing for the Storm
When the Coast Guard sends Linda Reyes to the tropical island of Puerto Rico, she is immediately thrown into a world of drug busts and high-speed pursuits. It is all danger and excitement, but it turns to frustration when Command restricts Linda from going after the source of the drugs, a new player in Colombia’s drug cartels.
But Linda has an old friend who can help: Jake Header, an ex-Navy Seal and leader of a covert team that works outside the law. Together, Linda and Jake just might be able to stop the influx of drugs, if they live long enough!
Book Two
Gathering Storm
When Linda Reyes and her crew discover a group of abandoned migrants stranded to die in the middle of Caribbean waters, she can’t sit back and do nothing. Things only get worse when dozens more of these cases pop up all across the waters, and every lead points to the Dominican Republic.
Outside of her jurisdiction and beyond her reach, Linda refuses to let it go, so she once again enlists the help of Jake Header and his team. What began as a simple migrant case might just lead to taking down an entire government!
Book Three
Into the Storm
Puerto Rico is a tropical paradise, but that all changes when an outbreak of shootings hits close to home for Linda Reyes. Not one to sit back, she soon discovered that a massive gun smuggling operation is flooding the peaceful island with black market weapons.
With the Coast Guard’s hands seemingly tied, Linda goes straight to Jake Header, but now, they are treading into dangerous waters. Outmanned and outgunned, even Jake might be in over his head as he and Linda face their most dangerous case yet.
Book Four
Primary Obstruction
When the daughter of an FBI agent is kidnapped from her birthday party, you would think the agency would move heaven and earth to find her. But, when they don’t, this distraught mother turns to the only people she thinks can help: Jake Header and his team. All too eager to help, Header springs into action, but when the FBI seems to be more harm than help as the case progresses, he fears that maybe the agency itself is compromised and that there is more at stake than one girl’s life.
